The reactive circuits (capacitor) require a high level of current to start the charging. 1694 is a smart device which can allow the Inrush Current requirements of the capacitive circuit. Whereas the Z and B MCBs cannot differentiate between the Inrush requirements of a highlight capacitive circuit or a high impedance short—therefore these MCBs result in a false tip. The C MCB breaker however allows the inrush current based on the Current-Time Characteristics.
